Su investigaci\u00f3n actual versa sobre el contacto ling\u00fc\u00edstico entre el otom\u00ed, lengua ind\u00edgena mexicana, y el espa\u00f1ol; centrando su atenci\u00f3n en la influencia del castellano en la vitalidad ling\u00fc\u00edstica de dos variantes dialectales del otom\u00ed, con vitalidades opuestas. Su trabajo de tesis de maestr\u00eda titulado <em>Claroscuros<\/em> <em>en<\/em> <em>la<\/em> <em>Revitalizaci\u00f3n<\/em> <em>Ling\u00fc\u00edstica<\/em> <em>del<\/em> <em>h\u00f1\u00e4h\u00f1u<\/em> <em>del<\/em> <em>Valle<\/em> <em>del<\/em> <em>Mezquital<\/em>, fue acreedor del Premio 2015 \u201cNoem\u00ed Quezada\u201d a la mejor tesis de Maestr\u00eda sobre pueblos otopames. Desde el 2010 es colaboradora del <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/lenguasindigenas.mx\/\">Acervo Digital de Lenguas Ind\u00edgenas<\/a> del Laboratorio de Lengua y Cultura V\u00edctor Franco Pellotier del Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropolog\u00eda Social (CIESAS).
